Veronica Nolan,
Executive
Director

Veronica originally joined Urban
Alliance in 2002 as a Program Director after having taught at Eastern Senior
High School for four years through the Teach for America program. In
addition to her responsibilities as UA's Executive Director, she serves on
the Board of Directors of DC Alliance of Youth Advocates,
Workforce Organizations for Regional
Collaboration (WORC), and Capital Area
Asset Building (CAAB).
Nicole Clegg,
Office
Manager

Nicole joined UA in August of
2004 and is a Washington, DC native. She graduated from Eastern Senior
High School and received her bachelor's degree in business administration
from University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She manages the day-to-day
operations of UA's offices on the 9th floor of the 600 Watergate building.
Deanne
Florindi,
Program Coordinator

Deanne joined Urban
Alliance as a Program Coordinator in June of 2008. She graduated from the
College of the Holy Cross with degrees in Mathematics and Religious Studies
and from American University with a master degree in Secondary Education.
Prior to joining Urban Alliance, she taught Algebra I at Coolidge SHS in DC
through Teach for America. She is excited to be apart of the Urban Alliance
team and to continue to work with DC students.

Kristina Gray,
Program Coordinator

Kristina joined UA in
July of 2007. A DC area native, she graduated from Goucher College in 2001
with a BA in Communications. She’s worked extensively in the past around
women’s rights, reproductive health and grassroots organizing issues. Prior
to coming to UA she conducted youth leadership development trainings and
assisted with peer education programming at the Young Women’s Project.

Raymond Hutchison,
Program Coordinator

Raymond is a Graduate of the University of
Rochester. Prior to joining Urban
Alliance, he taught eighth grade social studies at Eastway Middle School in
Charlotte, North Carolina as part of the Teach For America Program. He looks
forward to working for Urban Alliance as a Program Coordinator, and is
delighted to be working with the Urban Alliance staff and DC students.

Sokeng Leng,
Program Coordinator

Sokeng joined UA in April of 2007. She received her undergraduate degree
from The University of Maryland at College Park in Communication and later
earned her Masters in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount
University in Los Angeles. She has worked in youth development and education in Arizona, Florida,
California, and Michigan.

Tameka Logan,
Program Director

Tameka joined the UA staff
in June 2006. She has served youth from various social, ethnic, and
educational backgrounds. Tameka is a graduate of George Mason and
Regent Universities, where she studied Organizational Development,
Management and Education. She has worked as a youth developer for
approximately 10 years.
Andy
Moore,
Development Director

Andy Moore began working
at Urban Alliance in 2008. Prior to joining Urban Alliance, Andy returned
from a deployment to Afghanistan where he served as an Embedded Tactical
Trainer to the Afghanistan National Army. He previously managed a
Congressional campaign in Chicago and taught ninth grade world history in
Miami as a member of Teach For America program. He graduated from the
University of Minnesota. He is beginning law school in the fall of 2008.
Jee Park,
Community Outreach Director

Jee originally joined UA in June of 2004 as the case manager for
the Health Alliance Program. The many lessons learned prepared her to extend her support and resources
to staff and students in her new, unique role. Prior to UA, Jee taught high school Spanish and English as a Second Language at
Calvin Coolidge Senior High School through the Teach for America program.
Sean Segal,
Director
of Alumni
Services

Sean joined UA in June of 2006. He graduated
from Catholic University in 2001 and is returning to DC after a five year
absence. He was a Teach for America corps member in the Rio Grande
Valley and continued his career teaching and working for Teach for America
in Miami, Florida. He is excited to be working with DC students in
UA's new to be launched Alumni Services.

Jahmal Williams,
Program Coordinator

Jahmal earned his Bachelors degree in Women’s Studies from
the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then continued on to study at
Michigan State University to earn his Masters Degree in Clinical Social
Work. For the last two years he has worked as a school social worker at
high schools in Michigan and North Carolina. Enthused about the opportunity
to have a positive impact on youth in the DC area, Jahmal joined Urban
Alliance in June of 2008.

Meaghan Woodbury,
Program Coordinator

Meaghan graduated from
Loyola College of Maryland in 2003 with a degree in Political Science. After
graduation, Meaghan worked for Catholic Relief Services then the Baltimore
City Teaching Residency where she completed a Masters Degree in Education
from Johns Hopkins University while teaching 6th and 8th
grade social studies at Harlem Park Middle School. Meaghan began working as
a Program Coordinator for the Urban Alliance in July 2007.

Jetheda Warren,
Director of Corporate Partnerships

Jetheda joined Urban
Alliance in May of 2008. A native of Richmond, Va, Jetheda holds a Bachelor
of Business Administration from James Madison University and a Masters of
Business Administration from the University of Miami. For 9 years, Jetheda
has worked in Marketing and Business Development for several corporations
and non-profits nationwide. She looks forward to being a part of Urban
Alliance as the Director of Corporate Partnerships and is truly excited to
work with the Urban Alliance staff, its partners and DC youth.
Kara
Winerman,
Program Coordinator

Kara
joined UA in June of 2008. She received her B.A. in International Studies
from American University and her Masters in Teaching and Masters in Gender
and Cultural Studies from Simmons College in Boston, MA. Before joining UA,
Kara taught world history at Sharon High
School (Sharon, MA) and at Bell Multicultural High School (Washington, DC).
Anna Zimmerman,
Program Coordinator

Anna Zimmerman graduated from the University
of Puget Sound with a degree in Psychology. She spent the following years
doing Americorps at a work training program for high school students and
Peace Corps as a HIV/AIDS public health volunteer in Kenya.
Upon her return from Kenya in 2006, she relocated to the DC area and
began work at Urban Alliance!
