ServiceCorps and Atlantic Media are teaming up to provide volunteers for Urban Alliance over the next several months.  Urban Alliance is very grateful to have such generous support of our mission and students.

ServiceCorps and Atlantic Media will help fill Urban Alliance's needs by providing skilled, dedicated individuals willing to donate their time and energy to work with our students at events targeted to increase our capacity to serve DC youth.

The first event, the 6th Annual College Essay Day, took place on Friday, November 9th and involved 71 Atlantic Media employees working intensively with just under 100 UA students to craft outstanding essays.  Follow-up events are scheduled, including a Professional Writing Workshop!
